Belle Plaine Cemetery Association
The Belle Plaine Cemetery Association held it's annual meeting on Memorial Day; Monday, May 31 at the Belle Plaine Cemetery. The day included a missing man formation flyover by the CAF, flag raising ceremony with Norman West Jr. playing the National Anthem and Brig. Gen. John Comprere (Ret.) leading the riderless horse.
Two long time Callahan County residents, Billy Hatchett and Delores Compere were honored. A potluck dinner followed with bar-b-que furnished by the Association.
